They DON'T make you thirsty as some,( like most food bars do). The taste is pleasing to the palate, not like sticking saw dust or rocks into your mouth. They don't 'stop you up' like some bars do. and they're suprising compatible to the digestive system. The taste, is 'Outstanding' as far as a 'survival food bar' goes!!
